What you contribute to Allianz Direct

The Claims Provider Manager is responsible for optimizing the utilization of third-party providers and incorporating them seamlessly into our state-of-the-art claims process. A key focus is driving continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness, identifying partners in our markets who help Allianz Direct to exceed the expectations of our customers and bring a wow factor to insurance claims handling. Leveraging data and new technologies, e.g. AI, machine mearning, to support our objective to make this process intuitive and easy for our clients. We want to optimize the entire value chain with all our partners. We are setting a new standard within our industry.

Working with the Global Claims Tribe Lead, Claims Operational Excellence and Operational units you are jointly responsible for the execution of the claims strategic agenda. The Global Claims Provider Manager supports all the colleagues in the execution of the various objectives by listening, challenging, and actively scouting for third party service providers along the claims value chain. You spend significant amount of time understanding the underlying goals of the company and make data driven decisions to find ways to continuously optimize the claims journey. You have a deep understanding of the key performance measures to steer providers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the full insurance value chain e.g. procurement, operational governance, risk and product owners.

Your responsibilities:

  • Optimize the utilization of third-party providers to deliver a seamless claims experience to our customers

  • Support operational units to deliver an excellent service to our customers

  • Work collaboratively with Claims Operational Excellence, Procurement, and Operational Governance units to implement end to end solutions

  • Liaison with key stakeholders across the value chain with an understanding of how claims contributes to the overall success of the organization

  • Continuously measure and monitor provider performance against OKRs, KPIs, remediating below benchmark performance where needed

  • Identify and resolve frictions in the claims handling journeys and process where third party providers are involved

How you contribute to Allianz Direct

  • Bachelor or University degree in related field

  • Excellent understanding of claims processes and value chain, and the broader eco-system where third party providers operate

  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to influence and steer internal and external partners in support of strategic objectives

  • Effective communication skills to work with stakeholders in a global business environment

  • Customer obsessed

  • Strong analytical skills to make good, timely, data driven strategic decisions

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for technology-based innovation

  • Experience working in agile organizations a plus

  • Excellent level of English. Other languages are a plus, particularly German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and French.
